-les retros soient regles
-the mirrors are ajusted

-the windshielf wipers are not stuck
-vous etes au point mort avant de demarrer (afin d'eviter d'emboutir quelqu'un)
-the gear is in the neutral position before releasing the brakes (you don't want to back up into someone else)

Quand personne ne regarde, je pique le vieil appareil photo de papa.
When nobody is looking, I steal dad's old camera.
Mais parfois ma mere me surprend, alors je feins l'innocence avec un grand sourire et le tour est joue.
But sometimes my mother catches me red-handed, so I pretend I am innocent with a big smile and she falls for it. So easy.

Dimanche on a essaye de faire les bourges et d'aller prendre le petit dejeuner dans un salon de the. J'ai deguste une brioche et un chocolat chaud. La brioche, je connaissais mais pas le chocolat. Au debut on m'en a donne a la petite cuillere , ce qui n'empeche pas les moustaches, mais j'ai rapidement trouve que j'en avais plus si je buvais directos a la tasse. Delicieux.
On Sunday we pretended to be yuppies and went for breakfast in a bakery downtown. I had brioche and hot chocolate. I had brioche at home before but hot chocolate was a first. I started drinking from a spoon, which doesn't prevent mustaches, then I realized that I could get more at a time if I drank directly from the cup. Delicious.

Quand ma mere me coupe les ongles, ils sont courts mais aceres, alors elle s'est dit qu'un petit coup de lime pourrait aider (elle en a marre que je la griffe partout quand je tete). Au debut j'etais curieux et calme, a la fin elle a du m'immobiliser un peu.
When my mother clips my nails, they are short but sharp, so she thought that filing them could help (she's sick of being scratched all over when I nurse). At first I was curious and still, but at the end she had to head-lock me a little.

Eating half-sour pickles just before going to bed is fun (and calms my teething gums) but it also makes my tummy feel funny which makes my nights a little too agitated, according to my mom.
Manger des cornichons le soir, c'est rigolo (et ca fait du bien a mes gencives) mais ca fait aussi des tourbillons dans mon ventre et du coup mes nuits sont un peu trop agitees, d'apres ma mere en tous cas.
