Long Time No See

Hey everybody! Sorry Its been such a long time since I was able to update the blog. Long story short, I'm going to give you the abriged version of the last few weeks. The following pictures are from a few different events, namely a couple of parties, a trip to Carolyn's farm, and a couple of Mother's day shots.

Salut tout le monde! Désolé d'avoir été si long a mettre a jour le blog. En bref, voici la version abrégée des événements des quelques semaines passées. Les photos suivantes représentent plusieurs événements, notamment plusieurs fêtes, un voyage a la ferme de Carolyn et deux photos de la fête des mères (le 13 mai aux US).

First of all, we had some good fun on mother's day. We had a little party together and spent the day with Mom. She even got a present! Cool!

Tout d'abord, on s'est bien amusé à la fête des mères. On a fait une petite fête tous ensemble et on a passé la journée avec maman. Elle a même eu un cadeau. Cool!

Besides Mothers Day, we also went to a couple of events over the past few weeks. Here are a couple of shots from hanging out at our friend Jonn's place. Jonn is a Marine on civilian duty. That means he can kill you with his bare hands and that he also has superior barbeque skills. (Jonn explained to me that all Marines are committed to 3 core values: honor, courage and commitment to BBQ.)

A part la fête des mères, on est aussi allé à quelques fêtes ces dernières semaines. Voici des photos du jour où on est allé chez notre ami Jonn. Jonn est un marine en réserve. Ca veut dire qu'il peut te tuer à mains nues et aussi qu'il a des compétences supérieures dans le domaine du barbecue. (Jonn m'a expliqué que les marines s'engagent à 3 valeurs principales: honneur, courage et engagement au barbecue).

We also had a great weekend at Carolyn's farm in Pennsylvania. Her family grows a large variety of vegetables and sells them at their own store. Their farm is unique and very cool! You should visit their website to learn more about them!: http://www.schrammfarms.com/home.php

On a aussi passé un excellent weekend à la ferme de Carolyn en Pennsylvanie. Sa famille cultive une vaste variété de légumes et les vend dans leur magasin. Leur ferme est unique et très chouette! On a passé une excellente visite et on espère avoir la chance de revenir bientôt!

Following our visit to the Schramm's, mom took me to a party at Josh's house. I had a good time and got to visit with alot of friends.

Après notre visite chez les Schramm (la famille de Carolyn, ndt), maman m'a emmené à une fête chez Josh. Je me suis bien amusé et j'ai pu revoir plein de potes.

Here is a picture of me and Russ. I couldn't take all these partying teenagers anymore, so I just covered my face and went to sleep. Une de moi et Russ. J'en avais marre de ces jeunes fêtards, alors je me suis couvert la tête et je me suis endormi.

Of course, Mom held me alot too. Bien sûr, maman m'a aussi beaucoup porté.

The other big news is that Mom got me this new play thing. I don't know why, but things that dangle are really cool.

L'autre grande nouvelle est que maman m'a acheté ce nouveau jeu. Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais je trouve que les trucs qui pendouillent sont vraiment cools.

I like to work out in the mornings with the dangly stuff. Sort of a Richard Simmons thing.

J'aime faire de la gym le matin en essayant d'attraper les trucs qui pendent. Un peu à la Richard Simmons (un genre de Véronique et Davina, googler son nom pour plus d'infos. ndt)

Last night we had a get together with some of our old buddies from Lamaze class. Here is a picture of me with Carolina and Jameela:

Hier soir, nous avons fait une petite réunion avec nos vieux potes de notre cours de préparation a l'accouchement. Voici une photo de moi avec Carolina et Jameela We are all the same age, although technically I am the youngest. Jameela (On the left) is 1 month older than me and Carolina (on the right) is two weeks older than me.

On a tous pratiquement le même âge mais théoriquement, je suis le plus jeune. Jameela (à gauche) a un mois de moins que moi et Carolina (à droite) a 2 semaines de plus.
