4th of July

Nous avons passe le 4 juillet avec la famille de Carolyn en Pennsylvanie. Comme toujours je me suis amuse comme un petit fou.
We spent the holiday at Carolyn's parents farm in Pennsylvania. I had the time of my life.

D'abord, j'ai essaye le siege auto dans le salon. On n'est jamais trop prudent.
First, I tried the car seat in our living room. Better safe than sorry.


On s'est arrete pour le dejeuner et moi j'ai eu des frites. J'adore le melange feculent/gras/sel.
We stopped for lunch and  I got french fries. Salt and fat on carbs, my favorite combo.


Les parents de Carolyn on une piscine et on en a bien profite.
Carolyn's parents have a pool and we all enjoyed it very much.


Justin m'a montre comment jouer du piano. C'est un tres bon musicien. 
Justin showed me how to play the piano. He is a very good musician.


A la tombee de la nuit nous sommes tous alles sur une colline pour regarder les feux d'artifices des villages alentours. C'etait tres beau mais je prefere quand meme les lucioles, c'est moins bruyant.
At dusk we went on top of their hill to watch the fireworks from all the towns around. It was very pretty but I prefere fire-flies, they're less noisy.

Dear Cam...You and your little family look so happy and healthy.  I envy you a pool trip and the fourth at the Schrumm's.  What fun!  I miss you.  I went to the beach with your two younger uncles.  We had fun....shot off a lot of fireworks over the bay.  Your Uncle Joe took  a few of his friends out to the raft and shot off their stuff from it.  We had fun but it was a bit rainy and so the boats never got put out.  Katie, Amy and Anthony along with Jadon & family and Dominic were there too..and a ton of their friends.  Love to you.  I am doing school work so must get back to it.  Gramma
