Vendredi, le musee de l'information (Newseum) a ouvert ses portes a Washington. On Friday, the Newseum opened its doors to the public for the first time, here in DC.
Quand on a vu la file d'attente de pres d'un kilometre, on a rebrousse chemin. When we saw that the line was almost half a mile long to get in, we went back home.
Dear Cameron and parents....so glad you are trying to see museums and get a little culture! Is the newseum about the history of newspapers? Is Grandma sounding dumb? Grandpa and I went to a forum yesterday for the Seeds of Compassion. There were 500 people involved in early childhood. They served us lunch and we discussed how we could bring about change in children and how to make them compassionate. We were suppose to see the Dali Lama but he was overbooked and didn't come. We were a little disappointed but the forum was fun anyway. Janet and Will were here for the weekend also. Went for breakfast with your three uncles and the Williamson's yesterday. Love to you.
